Jack Bowyer, has been working as an Executive Producer, developing a media investment portfolio, which comprises several completed international feature movies, including Gallowwalkers, Dark Hearts and Private Peaceful. He is a former director of George Gale & Company and currently Chairman of Powder Train, a small boutique chain of pubs/hotels/restaurants, in the Southern UK
Kees Van Oostrum, ASC studied at the Dutch Film Academy with an emphasis on both directing and cinematography. After graduting with Honors he received a scholarship which enabled him to enroll the American Film Institute (AFI).
Van Oostrum has subsequently compiled an eclectic range of some 60 credits, including movies for television and the cinema, and occasional documentaries. He shot the Emmy®-winning documentary The Last Chance, and earned additional Emmy nominations for the telefilms Miss Rose White and Return to Lonesome Dove. His peers chose the latter for the 1994 ASC Outstanding Achievement Award for cinematography. Van Oostrum has earned other ASC Award nominations for the television films The Burden of Proof, Medusa’s Child and Spartacus. His diverse body of work includes the history-based feature films Gettysburg and Gods and Generals.
Alexis Varouxakis started his career in London where he produced a number of award winning short films, commercials and feature length projects before moving to theatrical feature films.
He is the Producer of ‘Opa’, starring Mathew Modine and Richard Griffiths. ‘Opa’ had a 2009 USA theatrical release. Alexis was a producer of ‘El Greco’ which had a theatrical release in 2007. He set up the co-production and financial structure between Spain and Greece. El Greco has won numerous awards around the world and has been selected to a number of international festivals.
Taking a break from the film industry in 2004, Alexis helped to set up a NASDAQ listed shipping company that reached a market capitalization of $150 million. He has since returned to the film industry. Alexis now lives in Los Angeles.
Alexis holds a Master’s Degree in Arts Management and a Bachelor (BSc) in Economics from City University in the U.K.
